Today!
   The past leers accusingly over
   my shoulder;
             this you did or didn't do,
             that you should or shouldn't have.
   But the one-way street that Life is
   allows no recall nor return.
             Let me bend to this nagging,
            let me weep with vain remorse,
   then Yesterday, arrogant thief,
   will rob me of Today.

   The future looms ominously,
   mysterious unknown!
             I have not walked here before,
             so I cannot know the way.
   This curtain allows no glimpses,
   the iron door implacably closed.
             If worry and doubt grind me,
             fear overshadow my heart,
   then Tomorrow, arrogant thief,
   will rob me of Today.

   Today is my gift for using;
   It needs all of me,
             uncluttered heart, not looking back,
             unfettered mind, content with now.
   I'm not the bird beating its wings,
   but the eagle freely soaring,
             guided in each decision
             with spiritual precision.
   There is no thief that can
   rob me of Today!

TODAY let us work together, let us shine and exalt each other. This is the will of the King. His royal gift to us is TODAY. Don't allow nothing to overshadow this gift. TODAY is the day of salvation. It is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in Him.

      "...while it is Today..." (John 9:4), "...while it is called To day..."
      The good days are passing, unrecocknized and in an ordinary way - we spend them, while we ponder over the past or we speculate in expectation of the days, we hope to come. Never allow this to happen in your life.

      The Word of God gives us a good advice for TODAY: Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
