Genesis 2:7-8 And the LORD God formed man of the dust
of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of
life; and man became a living being. The LORD God planted
a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He
had formed.
God
created and formed man out of the dust of the earth. However,
He did not just let him lay there, He gave him life. God's
plan, however, was not yet finished.
He created a garden for him, a paradise, and placed him in
it. Adam was not supposed to spend eternity on the dust from
which was created, but rather, he should have something better;
therefore, God created something special. The creator made
the garden of Eden to be his home.
As a result of the sin of Adam, Adam and Eve were thrust out
of the paradise and had to earn their living by the sweat
of their brows. Their fellowship with God was destroyed.
God has always sought fellowship with mankind, and even today,
He is calling a people who will believe in Him and are obedient
to the gospel of Jesus. He forms them and gives them the hope
of eternal life.
Even in this case, it is God's plan not to leave us in this
world from which He has taken us out of. He has something
better planned for us - a place in His kingdom. It is there
that we will be placed!
There is no sin, no pain, no death, and also no more slavery
in order to survive, but rather, everlasting joy in the presence
of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, the apostle Paul says in Philippians 3:8, that
the sinful world is worth nothing to him, for he wants to
gain Christ. God has prepared a better place for us in the
kingdom of God.
Whoever desires to go there must be obedient to the gospel
and follow Jesus Christ! We gladly welcome you to our worship
services or you can read more from our WebPages http://www.v-p-m.de.
Here your search for God will end! For many people this world
is their own home, they living as if there was nothing else
apart from that. They are only striving for money, power,
and the perishable things as if that was everything in life.
There are without care, just like the rich man until he ended
up in hell (Luke 16:28). This the other side for those who
mock God's grace and do not love the truth. rw
