Do not forget
this law! |
There are many laws. There are those which have been made by man, and there
are others which were made by the intelligence and almighty power of God and
are still valid today.
There is a law which concerns every person who walks on this earth. No matter
where he lives, where he happens to presently be, what he does - whether it
be good or evil, whether he is poor or rich, known or unknown, this law also
concerns him; and in the very same way, it concerns you and I too. No one
can escape this law! How can that be? It is one of the set laws of God and
it concerns the law of sowing and reaping.
This law is a part of many which God had implemented since creation and is
firmly established. It is the law of sowing and reaping. You can reject God
or you can believe in Him, all this is not so important, for this law is no
respecter of persons. What you sow is that what you will reap. Just like it
is in the natural sphere, the same applies in the spiritual sphere. As an
example, we will imagine that we are sowing wheat, we know for sure that wheat
will come forth as a result. We also definitely know and do not expect that
our reward will be anything else other than wheat, and not corncobs or tomatoes.
The seed which was planted in the earth, will bring forth the body.
The apostle Paul wrote in 1. Corinthians 15,37: And that which thou sowest,
thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of
wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased
him, and to every seed his own body. This is a law of nature which you
know is a 100% sure, and it ignores all unbelievers and shuts the adherents
of evolution up in their dark chamber. For it is God who gives the body, and
nobody else! Whether it is in the world of plants and animals or human beings.
In each one there is a seed which is only able to produce the particular type
which it happens to be. Just because there are different types within a category,
it does not necessarily mean that this is evidence for evolution, there is
no such thing as evolution, it is an illusion; everything all merely demonstrates
the manifold possibilities which God possesses. Every rose is different, even
those which are from the same kind. God causes that which has been sown and
planted to grow and maintains the life of it as long as He wants to. It is
that way with everything. Without ME you can do nothing, Jesus says,
even in our day and age. This law does not only concern the law of sowing
and reaping in the natural realm, but also in the spiritual realm. The Holy
Scriptures, which of course can only mean the Bible, is full of examples.
Adam and Eve sowed disobedience. God gave them everything on earth - make
them to be under your dominion. He said, You may eat from all these trees,
however, don' t eat from this one particular tree. Genesis 2,16-17 And
the LORD God commanded the man, saying, 'Of every tree of the garden thou
mayest freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou
shalt not eat of it: for in the day thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely
die!'
We know what happened. Death and sin came over all the offspring of Adam,
the human race, as a result of their disobedience. They had ignored the law
of sowing and reaping. Proverbs 22,8 He that soweth iniquity shall
reap vanity.
Galatians 6,7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man
soweth, that shall he also reap. This
concerns our actions and our way of thinking, in other words, simply everything.
You can look at it all in a negative way if you want to. There are also good
things about it, and just like it is in the natural sphere, the same applies
in the spiritual sphere. We can be assured that we will receive our reward
from Him when we take heed to the words of Jesus, stick to them and obey them.
This will all take place in His time.
It is often the case that a person has difficulties and struggles with problems
here and there. Many things do not go as according to plan. "Everything
is going wrong", we say. Why are things that way? It without doubt due
to the fact that the law of sowing and reaping has not been taken into consideration!
At the time of the prophet Hosea, the Jews ignored the Word of God and God
did not allow them to prosper in what they did. Hosea writes in 8,7: For
they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. Despite
everything, they did not let God tell them what to do anymore. At the
time of Micah, it was exactly the same thing. (Micah 6,15), therefore
He said to them: Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap;
thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and
sweet wine, but thou shalt not drink wine. Today it is exactly the same
case, even though it may seem that evil has the upper hand. God will also
exact judgement in His own time, and it will be bad for those who despised
and showed their contempt (See Malachi 3,18)
Do not forget this law of God, seek Him and His righteousness with your whole
heart, so long as you still have the opportunity to find Him. rw
