THE PROBLEM OF THIS TIME

At present there are over 300 organisations which claim to be the true Christian church. Which one of them is right? For the outsider this must be very confusing indeed and that is exactly what it is. How can he find Christ and be saved? How can a person know which church is the right one? Can the right one even be found among the 300 organisations? What will happen when he joins the wrong group? These are important questions!!!

To find the correct answers it is first of all necessary to abandon all prejudices against the Word of God. What was good for the Christians at that time is also good for us today; what saved them will also save us! God does not ask whether we belong to a Christian organisation, but rather whether or not we have done His will! Outside of Jesus Christ there is no salvation! Therefore we need to ask Him, and in reply the Word of God will give us an answer. However, are you really interested in the whole truth? If this is not the case, the Scriptures state in 2.Thessalonians 2,11-12 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." Such a person will never come to knowledge of the truth, even though it is God's will that every individual comes to knowledge of the truth (l.Tim.2,4).

At the beginning, in the first century, there was only one Lord, one faith and one baptism. Meanwhile, almost 2000 years later, this is the way it now looks: there are 3 Lords, several views about faith and also baptism is no longer that what it used to be originally. How did this come about? Simply because people have not stuck to the Word of God and only pick out the parts which they prefer. There is only one gospel which can bring salvation, if it is believed and put into action!

Paul spoke very clearly about those who do not adhere to the original gospel: "As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received (from us), let him be accursed". Read the whole Book of Acts yourself and note what the people heard, believed and did accordingly. This is the only thing that counts for us. rw
